Eight sites of Sri Lanka have been inscribed in the UNESCO World Heritage, namely, the ancient city of Polonnaruwa (1982), the ancient city of Sigiriya (1982), the Golden Temple of Dambulla (1991), the old town of Galle and its fortifications (1988), the sacred city of Anuradhapura (1982), the sacred city of Kandy (1988), Sinharaja Forest Reserve (1988) and the Central Highlands of Sri Lanka (2010).
Sri Lanka officially the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka (formerly known as Ceylon), is an island country in South Asia near south-east India. Sri Lanka has maritime borders with India to the northwest and the Maldives to the southwest.
Sri Lanka's documented history spans 3,000 years, with evidence of pre-historic human settlements dating back to at least 125,000 years.

Day 4 | ANURADAPURA – KANDY After breakfast sight seeing of Anuradapura. Leave for Kandy enoute visit Spice Garden and Batik factory in Matale. Overnight Kandy. |
Day 5 | KANDY – BENTOTA After breakfast city tour of Kandy - Upper Lake Drive, Market Square, Temple of sacred Tooth Relic. Transfer to Bentota. Overnight Bentota. |
Day 6 | BENTOTA – COLOMBO After breakfast leave for Colombo enroute Galle sight seeing. Arival Colombo, take a city tour of Colombo. Overnight Colombo. |
Day 7 | COLOMBO DEPARTURE After Breakfast day is free for shopping. Later we transfer you to Airport to catch the flight for onward journey. |
